FM Conway is currently seeking to recruit an experienced Account Manager to join our fast-growing Aggregates and Asphalt Division. As our Account Manager, you will help drive sales revenue growth while nurturing customer relationships for the Aggregates and Asphalt division. This is a full-time position based from our head office in Sevenoaks, Kent.
The duties of the Account Manager role will include:
– Developing and maintaining relationships with an existing portfolio of customers and increasing wallet share whilst identifying new opportunities
– Seeking new customers and expanding the customer base at each Conway Collect plant
– Developing in-depth knowledge of the utility, local authority highways, and surfacing contractor market around each Conway Collect plant
– Managing a list of customer accounts from initial quotation to invoice payment, collaborating with the credit control team to ensure adherence to credit terms and resolving invoice queries
– Handling customer complaints and invoice inquiries effectively
– Building positive relationships with all relevant personnel and teams within A&A and the wider FM Conway Group to ensure smooth operations and meet Conway Collect targets, using these relationships to identify improvements
– Providing weekly market feedback, tracking won/lost information, and contributing to monthly sales forecasting
What skills and experience do you need?
To be considered for the Account Manager role you must have previous sales experience ideally from either an aggregates or construction background. You will have a strong customer focus and be commercially aware. This role will involve travel to other FM Conway and customer locations, and therefore the successful applicant must be able to drive and possess a full UK driving licence.
