Bespoke Hotels – Sales and Marketing Director

Dumbleton Hall is undergoing a full refurbishment and is set to reopen in early 2025. There is a fantastic opportunity for someone to lead the sales and marketing strategy for this new venture. Experience with hotel pre-openings is beneficial but not mandatory. The ideal candidate will have local experience to leverage commercial insights and seize emerging opportunities. Extensive experience as a Director of Sales in the country house hotel sector is preferred. This role requires active involvement from pre-opening to welcoming our guests through the doors.

Marketing:
Creative responsibility for the marketing proposition, delivering all marketing activities across the marketing mix, working with in-house and outsourced teams.
Strategy and implementation of growth marketing
Responsibility for ecommerce / social media / showroom marketing including new product launches, promotions and events.

Sales:
Managing the sales team, you will lead by example and create a high performing team, driving additional customers and improving sales conversion rates:
Commercial Savvy: Excellent commercial understanding with the ability to drive new business and grow market share.

Proactive Attitude: A self-starter who can independently drive results.
Sales Expertise: Strong grasp of sales processes, methodologies, and best practices.
Communication Skills: Outstanding communication skills to engage with clients and team members.
Hospitality Experience: Preferred but not essential. We’re looking for passion and drive above all.
Experience in the wedding market and exclusive use of the property.
