Business Development Executive (Public Sector)

Job Summary

Step into the dynamic world of outbound sales with our Public Sector team, where each call presents an opportunity to connect with local authorities, schools, and colleges.

Ditch the rigid scripts and bring your own style to each interaction. As a valued team member, you’ll not only reach out to potential clients but also engage in meaningful conversations that set the stage for valuable appointments and leads for our Account Managers.

In this proactive role, you will handle approximately 65 calls per day. Additionally, you’ll maintain our databases and handle other customer-focused duties, ensuring our systems run smoothly.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, with 2 days in the office and 2 days working from home. Attractive bonuses for appointments booked and a percentage of deals won by the team.

Experience and Skills Required

Ideally we are looking for an individual with prior experience in office-based sales or customer service but will look at any background if you have the motivation to get into sales.

The ideal candidate will possess a confident phone demeanor, adept at swiftly establishing rapport and trust during phone interactions. You should demonstrate a business-oriented mindset and a proven track record of achieving targets.

Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with excellent administrative and organisational abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, as well as a reasonable level of computer literacy, is expected.
