About the Role

We’re looking for a Business Development Representative to join our team. In this vital role, you’ll be key to driving lead conversion and revenue growth by taking prospects through the sales cycle, from initial cold lead generation to booking qualified meetings that result in real business impact.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

Identify Opportunities: Discover potential clients and new business opportunities for PA Media Academy’s training services.
Make Meaningful Connections: Develop strong relationships with prospects, positioning PA Media Academy as their trusted partner.
Qualify Leads: Assess and prioritise leads based on their potential and alignment with our offerings.
Dive into Discovery: Conduct insightful discovery calls to uncover client challenges and requirements.
Secure Meetings: Arrange well-qualified proposal meetings or calls for our Training Managers.

About You

We’re looking for someone with the initiative to generate leads independently and who’s self-motivated. A keen interest in the news agenda and the ability to creatively link current events to our training services is essential.

While your previous industry experience may vary, the following is a must:

Some previous B2B sales lead generation experience
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

This role is a Fixed Term Contract for 12 months, reporting directly to the Managing Director. You’ll be based within the Sales Team at PA’s Paddington headquarters, with regular meetings at our Cannon Street training centre in central London.
