During the last twelve months the company has gone through a major transformation and is now operating on a Digital First basis.
Post lockdown, we are now entering a period of growth and development and we wish to appoint an Exhibition Sales Executive.
Wedding Journal is the premier Brand in the Bridal marketplace in both North and South of Ireland.
The role is to sell exhibition space into Belfast and Dublin Wedding Journal Shows and Promote the Power of Face-to-Face Marketing. The Wedding Journal shows have the full resources of the Wedding Journal brand behind them. ( 250,000 monthly reach) The always requires to maintain any current customer base and research and confirm new customers and new Feature area s with the shows and maintain relationships and progress the booking transaction through to the end result of the shows .
With Print and Digital Magazines, Weekly newsletters Web site, social platforms, plus, Two Shows both Belfast and Dublin, this is a fast-paced environment. The Wedding Journal shows are the Must Visit for any Bride to be incorporating the best Bridal suppliers in the country, together with the Now famous Bridal Catwalk Shows. We are experiencing high demand for exhibitors to attend the shows and need a vibrant Exhibition Sales Executive to lead this role.
We are Looking for a HIGH ENGERY individual to join this dynamic sales team.
The position is based in Belfast.
Key responsibilities
To reach agreed weekly and monthly sales targets
To prepare and deliver quality online sales proposals and presentations
To reach weekly KPI’s – call rates, new business calls, number of sales etc
To be professional and always deliver excellent customer service
To deliver targets on Exhibition Sales on The Wedding Journal Shows
To attend Functions and Shows in the Wedding Sector
To sell exhibition space into Belfast and Dublin Shows , Promotion the Power of Face-to-Face Marketing.
To maintain relationships and progress the booking transaction for the shows.
Candidate profile
A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a telephone sales environment
High energy levels and ability to work on own initiative
Ability to sell creative marketing solutions
Excellent telephone manner
Highly competitive
Good reporting and presentation skills
Excellent career prospects in a market leading media company.
Starting salary £35k OTE
