Overview

As a member of Baxter’s sales team, you’ll be aligned to one of our global business units and be responsible for new business, developing existing accounts and ensuring patient-centric approach in all your dealings. You’ll work within an assigned geographic area or with specific accounts to achieve or exceed personal and business goals, all in pursuit of our mission to save and sustain lives. In the sales role, you’ll have the opportunity to provide input on new markets and products, manage customer concerns, and collaborate with other teams.

We are seeking a Remote Account Manager to join our Sales team for the Baxter Healthcare Systems and Technologies Business Unit. The ideal candidate will work closely with our field-based Key Account teams and nurture relationships with clients to identify their needs, fulfill sales requirements, and proactively prospect new business opportunities.

Baxter is committed to supporting the needs for flexibility in the workplace. We do so through our flexible workplace policy which includes a required minimum number of days a week onsite. (Currently Compton however we are due to move to Reading)

This policy provides the benefits of connecting and collaborating in-person in support of our Mission. The flexible workplace policy is subject to local laws and legal requirements.
At its discretion, Baxter may decide to adjust, suspend, or discontinue as business needs change.

What You’ll do:

Collaborate with the Territory Sales team to build and maintain the Territory Business plan

Develop and implement prospecting and business development strategies

Remotely sell Baxter’s products and retain end-user customers within an assigned geographic area or specific customer accounts

Promote and establish education of the company’s products and services

Collaborate with various departments to plan and implement sales activities

Provide on-going sales support, including sales calls, data analysis, and customer opportunities follow-up

Collaborate with tender and contract departments on leading large-scale tenders and contracts

Deliver accurate product information, forecasting, and active supply chain management

Conduct regular Business Reviews with customers

Translate market insights into a clear prioritization of sales actions

Submit accurate monthly forecasts based on intelligent and realistic pipeline management

What we need form you:

Passion for selling and a positive demeanor towards remote sales

Previous remote sales experience or a genuine desire to move from a field-based sales role

Experience in the medical sales industry

Strong teamwork and collaborative approach

Comfortable taking personal accountability for actions towards a shared goal

Proactive approach and resilient attitude in developing new prospects and closing deals

Strong presentation and communication skills over the phone

Ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment

Willingness to challenge the status-quo and develop new ways of working that align with our customers’ needs
