Legal Sales Manager

The Company

We are a well-established, award-winning company, based in Warrington, offering DNA, drug and alcohol testing services to the legal (Family Court) community, members of the public and companies across the UK and internationally.

We are going through an exciting period of growth in the Family Court sector, so our team now needs to expand and recruit a Legal Sales Manager.

This role is offered on either a remote or a hybrid basis.

The Role

The role reports to the AlphaBiolabs Directors and the main responsibilities include:

Working with the senior team to formulate and implement the legal sales plans in accordance with the strategic direction of the company
Agreeing and achieving the monthly / quarterly / annual sales objectives and targets
Gaining a clear understanding of customers’ needs and requirements
Building customer loyalty through excellent service and attention to customers’ needs
Line managing and motivating the sales team
Reviewing the team’s sales performance and aiming to meet or exceed targets
Reporting performance on KPIs to senior managers.
Identifying new opportunities to ensure sustainable and profitable growth.
Coaching sales staff by rating a minimum of 5 calls per week per person to enhance their knowledge and selling and consultative selling skills.
Implementing sales campaigns to promote sales growth by focusing on:
Customer retention
Increasing conversion rates
Increasing the average case value by promoting additional testing services as required (upselling)
Promoting cross-selling additional services to legal customers
Promoting our services to prospective customers who are identified as ‘Split Invoice’ parties in other cases.
Promoting our services via all electronic means, telephone and events.
Facilitating sales team meetings and sharing best practice with the team.
Working closely with Marketing to support marketing campaigns.
Working closely with the laboratory to ensure the new enquiry team is providing accurate information.
Undertaking regular competitor analysis and SWOT analysis, presenting findings to key stakeholders.
Participating in management meetings, providing accurate and timely reports as required.
Ensuring compliance with ISO 17025, ISO 9001, internal policies and procedures.

The Person:

Experience in the Family Court sector or similar
At least 5 years’ successful experience in a similar role
A self-starter, able to work to the company strategy and plan with autonomy
Experienced people manager and successful leader
Very organised, able to deliver multiple projects in parallel
Extensive experience of using a CRM (preferably Salesforce) for analysing customer behaviour, reporting and setting up sales campaigns
High standard of communication, both verbally and in writing
Demonstrable experience working with multi-functional teams
Proven ability to operate effectively in a high pace environment
Excellent IT skills
