About the Role:
Our client’s homes team is looking for an ambitious, forward-thinking, and high-energy Market Manager to join our Northern Europe supply team. The successful candidate will help drive growth across the Netherlands by developing and executing supply strategies. This role focuses on both acquiring new supply—through onboarding large vacation rental management companies, property managers, and individual hosts—and optimizing relationships with existing Our client’s Homes hosts. Reporting to the Territory Manager for Northern Europe, this 12-month contractor role offers an exciting opportunity to make a tangible impact in one of Our client’s key regions.
Key Responsibilities:

Account Management: Directly manage a portfolio of accounts, driving performance to meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
Supply Growth: Build and execute strategies to expand Our client’s presence in the Netherlands through the acquisition of new, high-quality hosts and partners.
Host Optimization: Maximize relationships with existing professional and individual hosts to optimize supply in your region.
Relationship Building: Develop strong, long-term relationships with key professional partners and hosts within your assigned territory.
Market Insights: Analyse regional data to identify opportunities for growth and share data-driven recommendations with internal teams.
Product Education: Educate clients and the host community about key product changes and facilitate feedback to relevant internal teams.
Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with teams across product, communications, customer support, and public policy to ensure success in the market.
Event Representation: Represent Our client’s at external meetings and industry conferences, acting as a brand ambassador in your market.
Travel & Support: Provide in-person support to hosts in your region when needed, including travel to key markets.

Skills & Experience:

Experience: Minimum 5 years in new sales, account management, or partner support, with at least 2 years in the hospitality or travel industry.
Language Proficiency: Fluency in English and Dutch (both written and spoken) is required.
Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build relationships via phone, email, and face-to-face interactions.
Data-driven: Strong quantitative skills, with the ability to analyze data and apply insights to business decisions.
Time Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Tech Savvy: Experience using CRM software (Salesforce preferred), and comfortable with technical integrations.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Proven experience working with various teams to drive success.
Travel: Available to travel within your assigned markets, as business travel resumes.
Passion: A genuine passion for our client, travel, and the sharing economy. Experience as an host is a plus.
Self-starter: A charismatic, proactive, and resourceful individual who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment.
