We are now looking for an organised and proactive Marketing Assistant to join our marketing team and kick-start their career with a well-established UK brand giant. Reporting to the Head of Channel Marketing, the Marketing Assistant will support the core retailer and marketing teams on delivering the wider marketing strategy & encompass the day to day running of the marketing department.

This role will be crucial in ensuring the smooth running of daily administrative tasks; agency liaison, content creation & auditing and competitor analysis are some of the key responsibilities. Role and Responsibilities:

Ability to manage multiple tasks with speed and attention to detail.
Strong time management skills, that can juggle multiple deadlines & tasks simultaneously – organisation is key!
Self-starter that can be self-sufficient and proactive, but also take direction well.
Ability to learn content & asset management quickly and efficiently
Keen to learn how to operate new digital platforms quickly – supplier platforms, digital platforms, internal platforms.
A good understanding of how consumers shop and navigate the market – if not a key eye to explore the purchase journey
Ability to brief clients and suppliers effectively on creative artwork briefs, photography, content.
Actively investigates consumer trends, new products & brands, content, CRM and digital marketing trends – suggesting how to bring this into our category.
Efficient on Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel – Adobe/Canva idea but not required.

Entry requirements

Grade 4/C or above in GCSE Maths and English.
Eager to progress and learn quickly within a business environment
Enjoys working as part of a team and very much be a ‘team-player – happy to knuckle down & get working on what’s required
An general interest in marketing and business
Creatively minded
Punctual
Enjoy a chatty and social work environment!

Skills requirements

Training to be provided

The Juice Academy is a digital marketing Academy based in Castlefield, Manchester. They train up to 80 apprentices a year, whilst the apprentices work with businesses around the North West (and sometimes further afield!). The training is delivered by industry professionals from their sister company, Tangerine Communications. The Juice Academy training sessions are a hybrid of face-to-face learning within the academy in Castlefield, and online delivery via Zoom. Apprentices will also receive the on the job training in the workplace. The final three months of the course will be the ‘assessment period’ during which apprentices are expected to produce a portfolio of work and complete a series of assessments. Full digital marketing training to be provided on-the-job and off-the-job. The Juice Academy partner with Apprentify, who support apprentices in the workplace through development coaching.

The qualification will include:
