LOCATION: Home based with a requirement to be in the London office on a regular basis with ability to cover national geography
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The National Account Manager (NAM) manages / supports on an assigned group of multi-site operators across varied UK trade channels (including Retail and Wholesale) within the UK market. The NAM is a important role within the UK commercial team with responsibilities for developing and growing Juul’s product listings, distribution, rate of sale and retailer share of mind/voice through seamless execution of customer account plans.
Performance in this role will be measured primarily by achievement of key financial metrics, product listings, volume and sales growth, development, implementation and execution of joint business plans, accurate forecasting / reporting and administrative support.
The National Account Manager role is ideal for someone currently working as a National Account Executive in FMCG categories looking to grow and develop within a challenging and rewarding national account role. The National Account Manager role reports to the Head of National Accounts
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ownership of contract negotiations, relationship, execution and KPI’s for assigned accounts
Management of the Joint Business Planning process ensuring business objectives are jointly owned and exceeded
Develop and nurture strong relationships amongst a range of departments within your customers business, and facilitate the building and growing of strong relationships between the customers and the Juul team
Implement trade and channel marketing plans specific to the assigned customers in line the with the UK business plan
Ownership of account budgets ensuring spend in line with agreed objectives and contractual obligations
Forecasting accurately using data analysis to identify risks and opportunities
Maintain and agree contractual obligations, and ensure the highest levels of customer services
PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience and knowledge of the FMCG retail environment
Experience and ability to manage a diverse group of stores across a geographic area
Persuasive and adaptable presenter – ability to positively influence different stores and staff
Strong resilience and desire to drive continuous improvements and operate in a changing environment
Ability to build and develop collaborative relationships – internal and external
Ability to problem solve and think on your feet
A full UK driving license is required for this role
At least 3-year experience working in a business development and or national account executive role in the FMCG sector
EDUCATION:
BA/BS degree preferred but not required
