Position: National Account Manager (World Foods)
Location: Hybrid / West London Office 2-3 days per week
Package: £65,000 – £75,000
We have been retained by a global food business within the ‘World Foods’ category to help them in their search for a Grocery National Account Manager. The role is based from their head office in West London 2-3 days per week. We are seeking a National Account Manager who has experience of managing and growing Top 4 UK grocery customers. Experience of world foods or frozen products is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and grow key accounts with the top-tier retailers in the UK
Work with retailers to develop category growth strategies and maximize shelf presence.
Track and report on account financials, including sales forecasts, trade spend, and profit margins.
Drive sales growth by negotiating trading agreements, promo plans, and pricing strategies.
Monitor and analyse sales performance to identify and address any issues or challenges impacting account performance.
Collaborate with the NPD team to identify and launch new products that meet retailer and consumers’ needs.
Present new product concepts to retailers, securing listings.
Qualifications:
Experience of account management – focusing on managing top-tier UK retailers (Tesco, JS, Waitrose, Morrisons)
Preferred : Experience working in the frozen food or world food category
Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Package:
Competitive basic salary: £65,000 – £75,000
10% annual bonus
