Humber Recruitment are recruiting a Part Time Soft Furnishing Salesperson for Lees Furnishers, a valued, well-established client of ours in Grimsby that offers premium home interiors and flooring.

They are offering a wonderful opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic salesperson to join their dynamic team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and have a strong ability to build relationships with clients. As a soft furnishing salesperson, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and promoting our products, ensuring that customers have a positive experience from start to finish.

Hours

Part-Time – 3 to 4 days including weekends

Responsibilities

Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions
Demonstrate product features and benefits effectively to encourage sales
Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of our product range and industry trends
Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers
Follow up with customers post-purchase to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business
Assist in maintaining the visual merchandising standards of the store

Requirements

Previous experience in sales or customer service is preferred but not essential
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage customers effectively
Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating the ability to build rapport quickly
A proactive approach to problem-solving with a focus on customer satisfaction
Ability to work well within a team as well as independently
Basic numeracy skills for handling transactions and inventory management
Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends if required
A creative eye with an interest in interiors is desired but not essential
