The Job:
Sales & Development Executive
Freight Forwarding
£27,500 – £32,500 PA DOE + Commission
Tilbury
Monday to Friday 9 am to 5 pm
A long-standing Freight & Logistics business who are in the heart of the shipping industry are expanding their team and searching for a Sales & Development Executive to join their team
Responsible for import & exports using multi-modal methods (sea, air, road and rail), with extensive overseas agency networks this is a great time to join the business.
Responsibilities
Identify and source new business opportunities, from your leads and operational leads
Develop new sales across FCL/LCL, Sea freight and road freight
Attend client meetings when needed both virtually and face to face if required
Build strong relationships to achieve repeat business
Managing your account questions and queries
Prepare accurate quotations
Ad-hoc sales duties
Salary: £27,500 – £32,500 + Commission
Your experience:
Proven experience in freight sales – (within a multimodal environment is preferred)
Strong communication skills
