Sales & Events Support Administrator, Wallingford
£25,000 to £30,000 – 9am to 5pm, fully office based role
PLEASE NOTE THIS ROLE REQUIRES YOU TO HAVE ADVANCED EXCEL
This is a great new opportunity due to growth of the business. As the Sales & Events Support Administrator you will be responsible for the follow-up of the commercial activities of the team and assist them in organising events of which 14 are planned for 2025!
As the ideal candidate will have office experience, be IT literate and specifically have at least intermediate experience in Excel as the role requires reporting and an analytical mind.
Key Responsibilities
Maintaining the database, dealing with bounce backs and duplicate entries
Monitoring an inbox and forwarding emails onto appropriate team member
Record the annual individual objectives of Sales Team
Record sales target achievements and compile monthly activity reports
Ensuring the internal dashboards are kept up to date
Input and update annual sales documents
Organise sales promotion evenings, showroom visits, meetings, booking hotels, flights
Record the training carried out by Sales Reps
Work with Marketing and share content with them to help aid marketing material
Manage undelivered mail shots and emails
Other Responsibilities
Organise corporate events and be proactive in suggesting activities
Sales Staff recruitment participation – including updating recruitment platform, presentation of company to prospective candidates and conducting recruitment testing – subject to training and experience
Key skills & Experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel specifically intermediate level
Demonstrable ability to follow procedures and instructions
Proficiency in phone reception skills
Excellent time management and attention to detail
Good interpersonal and customer service skills
Multi-tasking and proactive mindset
