Sales and Training Executive

Building customer relationships and increasing revenue from our Shopiago Trade-in product.

Through Shopiago, we share the technology that has grown World of Books into the business it is today, helping charities increase profits and reduce waste through re-commerce. Shopiago Trade-in enables customers to make more revenue from their second-hand books or media.

This is an exciting opportunity to play an instrumental role in the growth of Shopiago Trade-in, expanding our customer base and increasing income. You will be on the front line, engaging with potential and existing customers across the UK, selling our products and services, and providing training.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Selling our Shopiago Trade-In product to prospective users and securing sign-ups, predominantly from charity shops
Onboarding new customers to the Shopiago platform, providing a seamless user experience
Providing training on the Shopiago Trade-In product
Building strong customers relationships and present the Shopiago brand positively
Gathering customer insights and track these in our CRM platform – HubSpot
Meeting with customers and prospects in person and via video and phone calls
Achieving agreed sales targets and outcomes

This position requires a high level of determination but no prior experience in field marketing or sales as full training will be provided, but to succeed you will need:

Strong selling, negotiation, and communication skills
Ability to prioritise and manage your time
Ability to tailor conversations based on audience needs
Willingness and ability to travel extensively (on the road five days a week with some overnight stays); a full UK driving license
High levels of self-motivation and to be target-driven
Ambition to develop and grow the role

Please note: This role provides a competitive compensation package, including commission and a car allowance; travel expenses and accommodation cost will be covered.
