Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading independent Waste / Recycling company in their search for a Sales Manager to be based in Barnsley.
For the successful Sales Manager our client is offering:
£45,000 to £50,000 per annum basic salary DOE
8:30 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday
Full-time permanent position
Monthly and quarterly performance-based commission scheme
Company car

The role – Sales Manager:
Predominately office-based, reporting directly to the Head of Sales for the group
Oversee a team of 8 Business Development Managers covering South & West Yorkshire, driving sales performance and ensuring the team meets or exceeds revenue targets.
You will be responsible for developing strategies, coaching your team, and building strong client relationships to secure new business
Monitor individual and team performance, setting clear KPIs and providing regular feedback and coaching.
Oversee the identification and pursuit of new business opportunities, ensuring the team targets the right markets and sectors.
Prepare and present sales forecasts, performance reports, and market analysis to senior management.
Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activity, and market conditions to inform sales strategies.
Ensure the team adheres to company policies, health and safety regulations, and relevant waste management legislation.
What our client is looking for in a Sales Manager:
Previous experience in a Sales Management role – ESSENTIAL
Knowledge of the Waste Management Industry – HIGHLY BENEFICIAL
Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing and developing high-performing sales teams.
Strategic thinker with a results-driven approach to sales.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
Full UK driving license – ESSENTIAL
Key skills or similar Job titles: Sales Manager, Sales Depot Manager, Territory Sales Manager, Senior BDM, Senior Business Development Manager
