WHO WE ARE:
UKi is seeking an experienced media sales executive, ideally with a background in B2B print and digital advertising, who has a passion for the automotive engineering and motorsport sectors. The successful candidate will manage key accounts on two print/digital publications – Automotive Powertrain Technology International and PMW – while also focusing on generating new business (note that 30% of this role is new business development).

UKi Media & Events is an international specialist event organiser and publishing company based in Dorking, Surrey, UK. Our success is driven by a team of more than 90 talented individuals dedicated to delivering world-class events and publications. We are proud to publish 13 magazines that serve the automotive, aerospace, marine, meteorological and logistics sectors. WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
We are seeking a commercially driven and proactive individual to join our team. This role requires someone with a keen ability to identify and deliver tailored advertising solutions, alongside a strong focus on lead generation and relationship building. You will thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with clients and internal teams to exceed sales targets and deliver results.
THE ROLE:
Revenue Generation: Driving digital and print advertising revenues for Automotive Powertrain Technology International and PMW.
Sales Targets: Achieving agreed-upon sales goals.
Business Development: Identifying and pursuing new opportunities, including prospecting and generating leads.
Client Relationship Management: Building strong relationships with existing clients and understanding their advertising needs and objectives.
Proposals and Correspondence: Preparing high-quality proposals and maintaining professional communication with clients.
Event Attendance: Representing the company at third-party events for lead generation and networking, as well as attending our in-house events when required.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills for persuasive pitches and effective collaboration.
Highly organised, managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously with precision and timeliness.

Proactive and independent, capable of driving projects forward without constant supervision.
Technical Proficiency:
Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms, with a willingness to adopt new technologies.
Comfortable with digital analytics and adept at using insights to tailor marketing campaigns across digital and print media.
Industry Awareness:
Enthusiastic about staying informed on the evolving industry landscape and adapting to the shifting needs of clients.
