Zest4Talent are delighted to be recruiting for a well-known events company based near Woking, Surrey. Due to ongoing expansion, they are looking for a Social Media Coordinator to join their upbeat and busy Marketing Department. A competitive salary of up to £30k is on offer including excellent benefits; 25 days holiday and flexitime. Working in the office is preferred over hybrid working.
The ideal candidate for this Social Media Coordinator role will have the following skills and attributes:
Experience of working in a busy hands-on office setting
Be confident in uploading blogs on company website
Proven success in managing a social media diary including Facebook, Tiktok, Instagram, Twitter and Linked in
A creative ideas person who can work across all departments to create inspiring content to raise awareness and interest across all events
To fit in with the current team you must have a great sense of humour, have a solution based approach to challenges and the ability to stay calm under pressure
Reporting to the Head of Digital, the Social Media Coordinator ‘s duties will include:
Working with Marketing and PR to create a Social Media plan
Collating and creating Social Media content to share across all channels
Liaise closely with the Head of PR to find good case studies and stories to use on social media being mindful of the demographic
Updating the product information on company website
Keeping detailed records of success stories during each event and sharing to internal stakeholders
Working alongside Head of communications to monitor and respond to tweets and comments during live events.
Adhoc duties to ensure smooth running of the events and assisting on the live events (being prepared to work across 2-3 weekends per annum – time off given in lieu)
